Our Story
Who Is 888top and What Makes Us Different?
Our Journey 888top was founded in 2018 with a clear vision — to build an online betting platform that truly understands the needs and lifestyle of Malaysian players. At the time, most betting platforms available in Malaysia were owned by foreign companies that had little grasp of the local context, did not support payment methods commonly used by Malaysians, and offered no customer support in Bahasa Malaysia. 888top was created to fill that significant gap.
From day one, 888top was built on a foundation of trust and transparency. We believe players deserve to know exactly what they're wagering, what bonus terms they're accepting, and how their winnings are calculated. That's why 888top was among the first platforms in Malaysia to display all bonus terms, wagering requirements, and withdrawal policies in plain, easy-to-understand language — no confusing fine print, no hidden conditions that only surface after you've made a deposit.
Today, 888top is proud to serve over 500,000 active members across Malaysia — from Perlis all the way to Sabah and Sarawak. Our players come from all walks of life: die-hard football fans who follow the EPL and Malaysia Super League every weekend, esports enthusiasts who never miss a Mobile Legends MPL match, casino players who enjoy slots and live dealer games in their spare time, and those who started with lottery as a bit of light entertainment. 888top brings all of this together in a single platform built specifically for the Malaysian market.
One of the things we're most proud of at 888top is our payment system, built entirely around Malaysian players. We support all major local eWallet options including Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, and DuitNow, as well as online banking via FPX (Maybank2u and CIMB Clicks). Deposits are processed within seconds, and winnings can be withdrawn in as little as 5 to 15 minutes — far faster than many competitors in the market who take hours or even days to process payments.
Player data and financial security are top priorities at 888top. All user data is protected with industry-standard 256-bit SSL encryption — the same level used by leading banking institutions. Our systems are also equipped with two-factor authentication, real-time account activity monitoring, and a security team working 24/7 to ensure every player's account is protected against unauthorised access. We also adhere to strict anti-money laundering (AML) standards to keep our platform free from illicit activity.
888top is also deeply committed to responsible gaming. We believe that sports betting and casino games are a form of entertainment that should be enjoyed within healthy limits. That is why we provide every member with a full range of self-control tools — daily and weekly deposit limits, loss limits, session time limits, temporary or permanent self-exclusion, and access to support resources for those who may need help. 888top will never encourage players to bet beyond their means.
888top customer support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year — via Live Chat, email, and WhatsApp. What sets 888top's support apart is that all our agents are fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and understand the local context. When you reach out, you're speaking with someone who genuinely understands your needs as a Malaysian player, not someone reading off a translated script. We also actively gather player feedback and continuously work to improve the platform based on our members' real experiences.
Looking ahead, 888top will continue to grow and innovate to meet the evolving needs of Malaysian players. We are currently working on a mobile app to make your betting and gaming experience smoother on your phone, adding more new game titles from leading international providers, rolling out more exciting seasonal promotions throughout the year, and building a more comprehensive VIP loyalty programme to reward our most dedicated members. One thing that will never change is 888top's core commitment to security, transparency, and the satisfaction of every Malaysian player who trusts us.
