Esports at 888top – The Complete Esports Betting Guide for Malaysian Players
Esports is no longer something to be taken lightly. Today, the Mobile Legends M-Series draws millions of viewers from across Southeast Asia, and Dota 2's The International boasts an annual prize pool that can reach USD 40 million — figures that far surpass most traditional sporting events. In Malaysia especially, esports has grown into a culture of its own. From cybercafes in Petaling Jaya to student hostel rooms in Kota Kinabalu, young Malaysians follow the esports scene with real passion. And 888top is here to make watching these tournaments an even more exciting and rewarding experience.
The 888top Esports Platform offers over 200 active markets across 15 of the world's biggest esports titles. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang holds the top spot among 888top Malaysia players — no surprise there, given how deeply embedded MLBB is in Malaysian youth culture. Available MLBB markets include match winner, game handicap, total games in a series, and in-game markets such as first team to raze the base. 888top covers all major MLBB events, including MPL Malaysia, MPL ID, the M-Series World Championship, and various international invitational tournaments.
Dota 2 commands a loyal following among Malaysia's more seasoned esports fans. With The International as the pinnacle of every season, the Dota 2 scene delivers some of the most intense matches esports has ever seen. 888top provides full coverage of The International, the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC), ESL One, and a range of Major Series events. Dota 2 markets on 888top include map winner, map handicap, total maps (over/under), first team to take Roshan, first team to raze Barracks, and many in-game markets that make watching every match far more engaging.
Valorant and CS2 have been gaining serious traction among Malaysian players with a passion for FPS (First Person Shooter) titles. VCT Pacific is the most widely followed league in Southeast Asia, and Paper Rex from Singapore — along with other regional teams — are frequent talking points in the local esports community. 888top provides comprehensive betting markets for both titles, ranging from straightforward moneylines all the way to first pistol round winner, total kills in a map, and overtime winner. These are the kinds of markets you'll only find on a platform that truly understands the games it covers.
One of the most popular features on the 888top Esports platform is Live Betting — placing bets while a match is actively in progress. Unlike traditional sports where the game unfolds on a fixed clock, esports moves at a relentless pace and the momentum can shift in an instant. A Valorant map that looks like a comfortable 13-6 win can become 13-10, then 13-13 in a matter of minutes. That is precisely what makes esports live betting so thrilling — and 888top updates its odds in real time with every development that happens in-game.
For players looking to maximise their winning potential, 888top offers an Esports Parlay option that lets you combine up to eight selections on a single slip. Imagine you are confident in three match outcomes all happening on the same night — with a 3-leg parlay, the odds of each selection are multiplied together, producing a payout potential far greater than placing three separate bets. The risk is naturally higher since every leg must win, but for those who enjoy the challenge and trust their own analysis, a parlay is a compelling way to play.
Getting started with esports betting at 888top is straightforward. Register a free account in under 2 minutes, make a deposit using Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, DuitNow, Boost, ShopeePay, or FPX (Maybank2u, CIMB Clicks) with a minimum of RM 50, and you're ready to access over 200 esports markets. The minimum bet starts from as low as RM 5 — ideal for beginners looking to get started without high risk, as well as experienced bettors placing larger stakes. Winnings from esports bets are credited to your account as soon as the match concludes and can be withdrawn to a Malaysian eWallet in as little as 5 to 15 minutes.
888top also places a strong emphasis on esports betting integrity. All odds are calculated based on in-depth analysis and team performance data — not simply public perception. Our system monitors betting anomalies that may indicate match-fixing, and we work closely with international esports bodies to ensure the integrity of every match we offer for betting. This is 888top's commitment to providing every player with a fair and fully trustworthy betting environment.
